The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Patient Experience Tribe
. In this role, you won't just be moving pixels; you will be shaping the daily health journeys of our patients within the Oviva App. From evolving our AI coach to crafting engaging community features, your work will directly influence patient retention and, most importantly, their health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Proven Track Record: At least 5 years of experience designing software products, with a heavy focus on mobile app design.
  • A Strategic Mindset: The ability to tackle complex, ambiguous problems and turn them into creative, effective solutions.
  • Research Expertise: Hands‑on experience with UX research methods like shadowing and usability testing.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A love for working in a fast‑paced team where priorities can shift, and collaboration is constant.
  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Figma and user research tools.
  • Language

    Skills:

    Excellent communication skills in both English and German.
Bonus points if you have:
  • A background in digital healthcare, nutritional care, or behaviour change.
  • An understanding of behavioural psychology.
  • Experience in AI feature development or motion/animated design.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities

As a strategic member of our product trio (alongside Product Managers and Engineers), you will take ownership of the end‑to‑end design process. Your day‑to‑day will involve:

  • Deep Discovery: Using user‑centered and data‑informed design to understand exactly what our patients need to succeed.
  • Collaborative Innovation: Partnering closely with stakeholders to align on a product vision that is both impactful and technically feasible.
  • End‑to‑End Design: Guiding a project from the first spark of research and concepting through to high‑fidelity prototyping and final delivery.
  • Advocating for the User: Conducting interviews and usability testing to ensure every design decision is backed by real‑world insights.
  • System Building: Helping maintain and scale our design systems to ensure a consistent experience across our entire product.
