Directorate:

Our team and mission

The Space Training Team is responsible for the training of European, International Partners (NASA, ROSCOSMOS, JAXA, Canadian Space Agency) and other astronauts about the systems and payloads (experiments) of the Columbus European Laboratory. In addition, the Space Training Team conducts specialist training in Robotics and Space Analogues. In addition to astronauts, we also train the Ground Support Personnel, or communicators, who support the operation of systems and payloads on board the International Space Station (ISS).

Topic

of the internship:
Video and Multimedia Production

We are looking for talented, enthusiastic interns with great multimedia skills (video, graphics, design) to be involved in exciting projects in the Space Training Team. You might be involved in making videos that will be watched by astronauts on board the International Space Station (or even on Artemis Moon missions!) or preparing media for training material for astronauts and the ground-based communicators who support them.

There is always a new challenge, and new opportunities. Are you ready for them?

Your tasks might include filming astronauts and editing material for production of public outreach and space training videos, as well as developing assorted multimedia (e.g. infographics, illustrations, animations) for use in videos, PowerPoint slides, E‑Learning, posters and other purposes.

You must be a university student, preferably studying at master’s level. In addition, you must be able to prove that you will be enrolled at your University for the entire duration of the internship.
