Be part of a team where design meets purpose. In this role, you’ll drive the design management process, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and lead projects that deliver innovative, high-quality outcomes—on time, on budget, and with a strong focus on value.
What might appear on your to-do list?In concept phase:
- To shape and co-create the project’s Value Proposition, and to lead the setup and execution of the RoC and VP review processes.
- Owning the concept design management and ensuring strong alignment between project development and the product’s unique value proposition.
- To partner closely with the Development Manager, supporting overall project leadership, governance, and process setup.
- Keeping design delivery on track—on time, on budget, and aligned with commercial objectives.
- Driving high-quality, effective, and commercially viable design solutions.
- Oversee construction cost considerations and budgeting during the concept stage.
- To co-lead the selection of external concept designers and local delivery teams, and to lead the preparation of the Design Brief and key concept documentation.
- To ensure implementation of Minirex and other internal know-how across the project.
- Supporting leasing activities, including discussions with tenants where design input is needed.
- Proactively identifying risks and contributing to stakeholder management within given area.
In construction phase:
- To contribute to planning and managing the design program, working closely with the Design Coordinator.
- Overseeing the translation of concept design and Value Proposition into execution.
- Managing design changes, ensuring any impact on the original concept is carefully controlled.
- University degree in Architecture or Design.
- Relevant work experience of at least 5 years in real estate development, design management or architecture offices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide and develop design teams.
- Solid knowledge of design management processes, tools, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with BIM tools and AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of design principles and German local regulations and approval processes.
- Ability to balance design quality with commercial and technical considerations.
- Interest in innovation, including practical use of AI tools in design and project management.
- Fluent in English and German language.
