We are hiring a Truss Designer at a regional leader in manufacturing high-quality trusses for agricultural, residential, and commercial buildings.
This role is a hands‑on design position with no direct management responsibilities, working closely with sales and production to deliver code‑compliant, manufacturable solutions.
Responsibilities- Produce roof and floor truss layouts and designs using truss design software (Eagle Trubuild or comparable).
- Read and interpret architectural/structural plans and specifications.
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, engineering requirements and standards.
- Review and revise designs.
- Assist with material lists, design documentation and job file organization.
- 2+ years of truss and structural component design experience.
- Proficiency with truss design software.
- Ability to read architectural/structural drawings.
- Effective communication.
- Must work on site.
- Pay 60,000 - 90,000 per year.
