Key Responsibilities:

Inpatient Coverage:
Provide inpatient care and triage for obstetrics and gynecology patients. Monitor labor progress, conduct deliveries (both vaginal and cesarean), and offer postpartum care. Perform surgical interventions as needed, ensuring high standards of care during all procedures. Emergency Response:
Attend to obstetric emergencies, providing timely interventions during labor and delivery. Respond to emergency consultations for obstetrics and gynecology, ensuring prompt and effective care. Collaborate with emergency department teams to manage urgent gynecologic cases, including surgical interventions. Patient Care and

Education:

Conduct thorough assessments, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic examinations. Provide patient education on prenatal and postpartum care, family planning, and general women???s health. Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, adhering to all regulatory standards. Collaborative Practice:
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, midwives, and anesthesiologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on the latest advancements in obstetric and gynecologic medicine. Position Details:

Shifts:

12-15 shifts per month, with flexible scheduling. Night shifts: 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. during the week. Day shifts: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekends. Up to 36 hours of scheduled shifts available. Support and Resources:

Qualifications:

Medical Degree:
From an accredited institution. Residency:
Completion of an OBGYN residency program. Board Certification/Eligibility:
Required in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Licensure:
Must hold an active Ohio medical license.

Experience:

Proven experience in managing labor and delivery, including both vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Proficiency in gynecologic care and surgical interventions is essential.
