Cardiothoracic Surgery PA Needed ??? Level I Trauma Center in Ohio We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery for a Locum Tenens position close to RAWSON, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing care to adult and geriatric patients. Position Details:

Start Date:

January - April, with potential for extension Shift Type:
Day shifts (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM), with nightly call from 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM Weekend Requirements:
Two weekends per month Call

Schedule:

10 days of call per month, Call Ratio of 1:3 Patient Load:
Average of 12 patients per day Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-operative physical exams and post-operative care Remove sutures and manage wound care Diagnose and treat illnesses Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and coordinate patient care Round on patients in both the post-op floor and ICU Practice Setting:
Office hours with inpatient post-operative floor and ICU care. The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center utilizing the EPIC EMR system. Requirements:
Current NCCPA certification Active Ohio state license Valid BLS and ACLS certifications Proven training and experience in cardiothoracic surgery Clean background check The successful candidate will work autonomously, with a supervising physician available for daily rounds and 24/7 phone consultations. Estimated credentialing timeframe is between 60-90 days for candidates with a clean file, with attempts to expedite the process.
