OverviewChristiana Care is searching for a Palliative Care Physician to join its Supportive and Palliative Care team working in Newark and Wilmington hospitals.
Responsibilities- Provide inpatient palliative care consults and follow‑up care.
- Collaborate with specialists and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Mentor learners in an academic environment.
- Participate in occasional on‑call and weekend coverage.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Residency training in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or related specialty.
- Subspecialty fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM) from an ACGME‑accredited program (required).
- Board certification or eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (ABMS or AOA).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teaching skills.

Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, shift 8:30 am–4:30 pm. Approximately 4–5 weeks of call per year (one week at a time).
