Neurosurgeon - Locum Tenens Coverage

Role Overview:
This position requires a board-certified neurosurgeon to provide 24-hour call coverage at an acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center, supporting neurological surgery services in both clinical and operating room settings.

• Manage inpatient consults, emergency department and trauma cases, and perform surgical procedures as needed.
• Support both spine and cranial neurosurgical patients across all ages.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including trauma, emergency medicine, anesthesia, radiology, orthopedics, hospitalists, and critical care.

• Board certification in neurosurgery required.
• Ability to handle variable caseloads with a flexible support staff.
• Experience with inpatient and emergency neurosurgical care.

Additional Details:
The role involves on-site coverage with a 1:1 call ratio, supporting both clinic and OR duties, and serving a patient population of all ages. The position does not involve government work and requires ongoing commitment to patient care across multiple hospital departments.
