This specialized oncology facility operates within a hospital setting and provides comprehensive hematology and oncology services to an adult patient population. The facility maintains dedicated support staff, including advanced practice providers, registered nurses, and medical assistants, to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery. Established clinical protocols are in place to support quality hematologic and oncologic care throughout the assignment period.

Ohio offers a range of regional attractions and recreational opportunities suited to varied interests throughout the year. The state is home to world-class destinations such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the National Museum of the US Air Force, and the Pro Football Hall of Fame, alongside natural areas including Hocking Hills State Park and Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Clinicians on assignment may also explore amusement parks, botanical gardens, urban neighborhoods, outdoor markets, and cultural venues distributed across the state's major cities.

Clinicians will provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care in a clinic setting, managing 15-18 patients daily, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions, and coordinating ongoing care with a multidisciplinary support team. The clinician will function as the solo physician with support from 3 advanced practice providers, registered nurses, and 3 medical assistants.

No call coverage is required for this assignment.
