This Level II Trauma-designated inpatient facility in Ohio maintains 20 operating rooms and provides comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical services to the adult patient population. The medical center maintains established surgical infrastructure and protocols to support quality patient care delivery across the cardiothoracic surgery service line. On-site resources are in place to ensure coordinated care throughout each assigned coverage period.

Ohio offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of regional attractions and recreational opportunities throughout the state. Cultural destinations include the National Museum of the US Air Force, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Pro Football Hall of Fame, as well as Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Outdoor enthusiasts may explore trail systems and pursue activities including canoeing, kayaking, and zip-lining, with diverse options for leisure and exploration available across the state during the assignment period.

The cardiothoracic surgeon will provide inpatient, on-site 24-hour call coverage averaging 10-14 days per month at a Level II Trauma-designated facility in Ohio. Clinical responsibilities include CABG, arterial revascularization using internal mammary arteries, radial artery, and gastroepiploic artery, redo coronary revascularization with or without heart valve surgery, pericardial window procedures, and heart valve repair and replacement including mitral valve repair. The facility serves an exclusively adult patient population within an inpatient on-site setting.
