Get support from your dedicated Scoot Education Consultant who matches you to school assignments to align with your skills, experiences, and interests. Get 1:1 check-ins to discuss school feedback, general questions, training opportunities, and career planning.

Many of our consultants have previous teaching experience and will share best practices and offer practical advice. They are just a phone call away for any questions or concerns.

• Earn up to $130 for day-to-day assignments and more for long-term pay varies by certification, school, and assignment
• Paid training hours and professional development opportunities (variable by state)

• Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor
• State & federal background checks

• Passion for education and putting students first
• An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be
• Have a teaching credential/certificate
• Have previous experience in special education settings
• Are bilingual and/or have bilingual teaching experience

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Encourage student engagement and participation throughout the day
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions, following any lesson plans left by the teacher
• Communicate clearly with school staff
• Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher
