"We are looking for a Portfolio Upgrade Specialist who will be responsible for auditing digital profiles, gathering and analyzing project content, and developing professional portfolios that meet German market expectations. This role requires close collaboration with assessment and design teams while ensuring full compliance with data‑protection standards and maintaining applicants’ privacy.
" Position Overview
The Portfolio Upgrade Specialist reviews and develops the digital presence of job applicants and builds a comprehensive professional portfolio that showcases their past projects, roles and skills in a way that aligns with the German job market requirements. This role involves curating and organizing information from various sources (such as Linked In, Behance, Git Hub and other student portfolio sites) and presenting it professionally to enhance the applicant’s employability.

Responsibilities- Digital Profile Audit
Review applicants’ accounts on professional and personal platforms (Linked In, Behance, Git Hub, Instagram, etc.) to ensure they meet professional standards and align with German cultural expectations.
Advise applicants on necessary updates to their profiles, including improving images, descriptions and using relevant keywords. - Content Gathering and Analysis
Collect detailed information from applicants about their completed projects, documenting their roles and responsibilities within each project.
Analyze available data and documents on professional platforms (such as project files and research on Behance or Git Hub) to identify key achievements and important skills. - Professional Portfolio Development
Create a comprehensive written portfolio that presents all projects and work experiences in a clear and appealing manner.
Design and prepare presentation files or portfolio documents using suitable software, or coordinate with the design team to achieve this.
Ensure the portfolio reflects market expectations in Germany, clearly outlining technical and professional skills relevant to target jobs. - Cross‑Unit Coordination
Collaborate with the Assessment Specialist and the Profile Upgrade Specialist to ensure consistency in the messaging and information presented.
Work with the marketing or design department when needed to obtain visual resources or design suggestions. - Legal & Ethical Compliance
Ensure all shared and published information complies with data‑protection laws and company policies.
Respect applicants’ privacy and maintain confidentiality
- 2–4 years in marketing coordination, client communication, or project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Business Administration or a related field.
- Previous experience in reviewing and enhancing professional portfolios, preferably in an international or multicultural context.
- Excellent writing and content development skills, with the ability to summarize projects in an engaging and clear way.
- Proficiency in design software or capability to coordinate with a design team to produce professional portfolio documents.
- High attention to detail, particularly in assessing digital content.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to extract information from applicants.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to organize and structure information within a cohesive portfolio
- Creativity in transforming experiences and projects into compelling professional stories.
- Meticulous and organized, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Attention to detail with a high standard for reviewing documents.
- Knowledge of GDPR and data protection best practices.
- Multilingual capabilities(German /A1-A2/- and English /B1- B2/ required; additional languages an advantage).
