The Role

The Intervention Specialist provides direct, personalized support for students with learning differences. As part of a collaborative team, you will design and administer a comprehensive, data‑driven learning enhancement program aligned with the school’s mission. This role requires strong relationship‑building skills and a commitment to continuous improvement through evidence‑based interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect learning enhancement services to students
  • Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and community partners to coordinate student support
  • Design and implement evidence‑based interventions using the RTI framework (Tiers I‑III)
  • Use data to identify needs, evaluate impact, and adjust interventions accordingly
  • Advocate for programs and practices that support equitable, inclusive learning environments
Requirements
  • Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist teaching license with mild/moderate endorsement
  • Graduate degree in special education or related field
  • Proven experience with RTI (Response to Intervention) across all tiers
  • Strong understanding of local, regional, state, and federal resources supporting students and families
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
  • Proficiency with technology and educational software
  • Successful completion of federal and state criminal background checks
Range

$41,500 — $55,000 - Commensurate with experience
