Join our Plainville Community Schools Family. We are currently looking for individuals to work in our district as daily substitutes. As a daily substitute, you get to decide which days you would like to work and have the flexibility to work.

Assignments for substitute teachers are available at all grade levels and all subject areas. A Bachelor's degree is required. Substitute teachers must be able to follow instructions and lesson plans left by the teacher. As a substitute teacher you must be able to work with students with special education needs. Excellent communication skills are required. Must be reliable and have a positive attitude.
The District uses Aesop, which is an automated substitute service that allows you to search and accept/decline the substitute jobs by school. Substitute compensation rate is $115.00 per day.
