POSITION / DUTIES – Intervention Specialist (Grades K–12)

The Newton Falls Exempted Village School District is seeking a dynamic, student‑centered Intervention Specialist licensed for grades K–12. The ideal candidate will bring diverse instructional skills and a strong foundation in primary reading, with the ability to support students across multiple grade levels in multiple schools.

Salary: As per the Negotiated Agreement.

• Strong background in early literacy and reading intervention.
• Experience in a co‑teaching setting and resource room environment.
• Demonstrated skill in IEP development and implementation.
• Familiarity with Ohio’s Learning Standards and data‑driven instruction.
• Science of Reading and Dyslexia training preferred.
• Experience supporting students at the high school level is a plus.
• This position serves multiple grade levels and requires flexibility, collaboration, and a commitment to helping every student succeed academically and behaviorally.
