Position: Intervention Specialist - Paulding Opportunity Center

The Western Buckeye Educational Service Center is seeking qualified applicants for the position of
Intervention Specialist at the Paulding County Opportunity Center in Paulding County.

The Intervention Specialist provides specialized instruction to students with disabilities by developing and
implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), adapting curriculum, and using a variety of
instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs. The role includes maintaining student progress data,
collaborating with teachers and families, and ensuring compliance with state and federal special education
requirements.

Responsibilities also include creating a positive learning environment, supporting student academic and
behavioral growth, and maintaining required documentation and communication. Candidates should hold
appropriate Ohio licensure and demonstrate strong communication, organization, collaboration, and classroom
management skills, along with the ability to support diverse learners effectively.
