Olentangy Schools is seeking qualified candidates for a School Counselor position at Olentangy Shanahan Middle School for the 2026-27 school year. This position provides academic guidance and counseling services to students, parents, and staff. Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible to hold valid and appropriate licensure (i.e., School Counselor) for each position with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW).

Qualifications for the position include:
- Valid and appropriate Ohio teaching certificate/license
- Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university
- Master's degree in guidance and counseling from an accredited college or university
- Alternative to the above qualifications as Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate
Internal candidates (currently employed by Olentangy Schools) must submit an internal online application in Applicant Tracking (School Spring).

External candidates must submit an external online application in Applicant Tracking (School Spring) and complete an online Teacher Candidate Assessment. In addition, a letter of interest and current resume must be uploaded within the Attachments section of the application. The online Teacher Candidate Assessment is sent via a link in a separate email. The assessment is timed and must be completed within the designated time frame;
multiple attempts are not permitted.
