GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Provides instruction and guidance to high school students in grades 9-12, fostering academic, social, and emotional growth. Prepares students for post-secondary education, career readiness, and responsible citizenship.

Provides a comprehensive instructional program aligned with Ohio Department of Education standards.
Develops and implements lesson plans that support diverse learning styles and abilities.
Utilizes formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
Maintains a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborates with colleagues, support staff, and families to promote student success.
Engages in regular communication with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
Participates in professional development and staff meetings.
Implements classroom management strategies that foster a supportive learning atmosphere.
Integrates technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning.
Assists with school-wide initiatives, activities, and extracurricular programs.
Maintains accurate records and complies with district policies and state regulations.
