Kindergarten Classroom Aide: Assumption Academy

Overview

Assumption Academy in Broadview Heights is seeking a dedicated and experienced Kindergarten Aide to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing, structured, and engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood development and learning.

• Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson implementation.
• Support students with academic tasks, social development, and classroom routines.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Supervise students during classroom, recess, and lunch periods.
• Provide individualized attention to students as needed.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and students.

• Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting (required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Commitment to supporting a faith-based educational environment (if applicable).

Full-time position Monday-Friday.
