Kenyon College, a nationally prominent residential liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for an Assistant / Senior Assistant Director of Admissions position. These are full‑time, 12‑month roles in the Office of Admissions, reporting to senior admissions leaders.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative, student‑centered enrollment division during a period of innovation and strategic growth. Working from Lowell House, a newly renovated admissions center at the heart of campus, staff participate in a deeply team‑oriented environment focused on relationship‑building, thoughtful recruitment, and shaping each entering class.
Responsibilities include managing a geographic recruitment territory; counseling and advising prospective students and families through the college search and application process; conducting interviews, presentations, and outreach programs; cultivating relationships with school counselors and community‑based organizations; and evaluating applications for first‑year admission. The role requires approximately 8 to 10 weeks of travel each year, along with evening and weekend duties throughout the admissions cycle.

An understanding and appreciation for the mission of a residential liberal arts college is essential, including a commitment to working with students and families from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required. A valid driver’s license and eligibility for Kenyon driver certification are also required.
Compensation & BenefitsSalaries are competitive and commensurate with experience.
