Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible for a valid Pupil Activity Permit with the Ohio Department of Education. The permit includes Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion Training, valid CPR certification, and First Aid, Health and Safety for Coaches.
Essential functions include:
- Exhibit professional behavior and sound judgment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the supplemental coaching components.
- Foster and facilitate student learning.
- Share best practices.
- Facilitate communication among administrators and teachers.
- Assist administration with budget and manage requisitions.
- Compile and maintain department inventory.
- Schedule and publicize special events.
- Eligibility for a Pupil Activity Permit with all required components (Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion Training, valid CPR, First Aid, Health and Safety).
