Exempt

• Valid and appropriate teacher or administrator certificate/license from the State of Ohio, preferred.
• Record of good attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, educators, and parents.
• Organizational and problem solving skills.
• Alternatives to the above qualifications as Board of Education may find appropriate.

• Raises awareness of and promotes pride in the African-American culture.
• Recruits members for the club.
• Schedules activities and events that promote diversity.
• Creates an environment that encourages students to discuss issues and problems.
• Organizes at least one community service project.
• Organizes fund-raising events.
• Completes all reports concerning class activities and fund-raising.
• Complies with all fund-raising policies and procedures.
• Communicates as needed with all staff to ensure a team approach to problem solving.
• Helps maintain safety and security in the building.
• Accesses, responds and communicates using the district issued email account regularly.

• Serves as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as responsible citizens.
• Helps instill in students the belief in and practice of ethical principles and democratic values.
• Remains compliant with district policies regarding alcohol and substance use/abuse. (ie: PO 4122.01 and PO 4170)
• Conducts all work in a safe and responsible manner.
• Conducts other duties as assigned by the principal or designee.
