Olentangy Orange High School is seeking a long term certified Math substitute for the 2026‑2027 school year.

Qualified candidates will be employed through the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO) and must hold or be eligible for valid and appropriate licensure for each position with the Ohio Department of Education and be active on Frontline Absence Management as a certified substitute with ESCCO.

Essential functions include ensuring the safety of students, demonstrating knowledge of subject matter, creating a classroom environment conducive to learning, following the scope and sequence of the instructional program, and observing ethics of the teaching profession.

Certified substitutes are compensated at a rate of $155/day; $180/day for days 61+ in a consecutive work assignment (no benefits).

Candidates must submit an external online application in Applicant Tracking and complete an online Teacher Candidate Assessment. An attached letter of interest and current resume must be uploaded within the Attachments section of the application.

The Teacher Candidate Assessment is sent via a separate email. The assessment is timed; set aside approximately 45 minutes of uninterrupted time before beginning the process. Once started, the assessment must be completed.
