Job Description

Woodmore Local Schools is seeking a dedicated and skilled Intervention Specialist to support students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment and enabling each student to achieve their maximum potential through tailored interventions and support strategies.

• Provide individualized support to K‑8 students with special education needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support personnel.
• Apply evidence‑based interventions and instructional strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist Teaching License (K‑12).
• Experience with special education laws, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Strong instructional skills and understanding of evidence‑based interventions.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support personnel.

• Availability: 2026‑2027 school year.
