The Bluffton University Becoming a Scholar mentor program provides an opportunity for students to assist new students in the orientation to the Bluffton experience during the fall semester. Qualified students chosen for this position will serve as a mentor for a section of new students in Becoming a Scholar and be directly supervised by the instructor for that section.
BaS Mentor responsibilities and expectations Ministry TeamEach year, students are chosen to serve on the ministry team with campus pastor Chalsi Campbell. Positions include Pastoral assistant, Hall chaplain, chapel assistant, worship leader, Spiritual Life Week coordinator, Sunday Night Worship coordinator and BASIC coordinator.
Ministry team responsibilities and expectations President's AmbassadorsThe Bluffton University President’s Ambassador Program is an extension of the university marketing office and will assist in recruiting prospective students, welcome and greet guests to campus, and engage with alumni and donors. This group of high-achieving students will be positive, enthusiastic and well-informed about Bluffton University and all its programs to best represent themselves and the university.
President's Ambassador responsibilities and expectations Resident AdvisorsThe resident advisor (RA) is a premier leadership position on campus that is vital to an environment in the residential community where students feel connected, respected, secure and develop both personally and intellectually. This is achieved through a focus on building a sense of community by hosting floor/hall events/programs and helping students make connections on campus.
