Lake Center Christian School welcomes applications from college students seeking to complete their student teaching placement in a Christ-centered educational environment. This opportunity allows future educators to gain meaningful classroom experience while learning alongside experienced teachers who are committed to academic excellence and biblical integration.

Student teachers at Lake Center Christian School have the opportunity to:

• Observe and assist experienced teachers in a Christ-centered classroom environment.
• Participate in lesson planning and classroom instruction under the guidance of a supervising teacher.
• Support classroom management and student engagement.
• Integrate biblical principles into teaching and classroom interactions.
• Gain practical experience in curriculum delivery, assessment, and instructional strategies.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student learning and development.

Requirements for Consideration To be considered for a student teaching placement, candidates must:

• Complete and submit the Student Teaching Application.
• Submit placement requests at least three months prior to the desired start date.
• Be enrolled in an Ohio college or university teacher preparation program for Ohio licensure.
• Demonstrate a commitment to Christian education and support the mission and values of Lake Center Christian School.
