The Opportunity

Gilmour Academy seeks a passionate, part-time French teacher to bring the language to life for students in grades 7–12. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, mission-driven faculty where your expertise in French language and culture will make a real difference in students' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach multiple levels of French across grades 7–12
• Design engaging, student-centered lessons that build measurable proficiency
• Integrate instructional technology to enhance language acquisition
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the broader life of the school community
• Build meaningful relationships with students and families

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio teaching certification
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field;
  Master's degree preferred
• Native or near-native proficiency in French
• Experience teaching French at the secondary level
• Strong command of best practices in world language acquisition
• A creative, innovative approach to curriculum and pedagogy
• Enthusiasm for working within the Holy Cross tradition
