Middle School Intervention Specialist
Plan, implement, and evaluate instructional strategies using a differentiated curriculum to address the individual needs of students enrolled in special education programs. Work with colleagues to ensure the provision of all services mandated by state and Federal law. Provide guidance and support to help students mature and make appropriate choices. Help students pursue their academic and vocational goals. Actively encourage parental involvement.
This position is in the cross categorical classroom.
Qualifications:
Valid State of Ohio intervention specialist license appropriate for the teaching assignment or the ability to obtain an alternative license. A clear record as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and/or the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Highly qualified and/or strength in math is preferred.
