Olentangy Schools is seeking qualified candidates for an English Learners (EL, ELL and/or ESL) position(s) available at Olentangy Meadows Elementary School for the 2026-27 school year. The teacher will help students learn subject matters and skills that facilitate maximum learning experiences and contribute to their development as mature, capable, and responsible adults; create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students;
and guide the learning process toward the achievement of curricular goals.
Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible to hold valid and appropriate licensure (i.e., a TESOL K-12 license or TESOL endorsement) for each position with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
Qualifications- Valid and appropriate Ohio teaching certificate/license
- Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university
- Alternative qualifications may be considered by the Superintendent and/or Board of Education.
- Internal candidates currently employed by Olentangy Schools must submit an internal online application in Applicant Tracking (School Spring).
- External candidates must submit an external online application in Applicant Tracking (School Spring) and complete an online Teacher Candidate Assessment. A letter of interest and current resume must also be uploaded.
- The Teacher Candidate Assessment is a timed assessment requiring approximately 45 minutes, with a single attempt permitted.
