Certified Teacher English Learners (EL, ELL and/or ESL) – 2026‑27 Anticipated Openings

This role will help students learn subject matters and skills that facilitate maximum learning experiences and contribute to their development as mature, capable, and responsible adults. The teacher will create a conducive learning environment, guide the learning process toward the achievement of curricular goals, and maintain a professional instructional setting.

• Valid Ohio teaching certificate/license (TESOL K‑12 license or TESOL endorsement).
• Bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university.
• Alternative qualifications may be considered at the discretion of the Superintendent or Board of Education.

• Ensure the safety of students.
• Prepare clear and timely lesson plans.
• Demonstrate subject‑matter knowledge and present clear, complete, and accurate explanations using a variety of instructional techniques and media suitable to learner level.
• Follow the scope and sequence of the instructional program as defined in board‑approved maps.
• Observe ethics of the teaching profession.

Certified, full‑time, 185‑day employment contract. Starting date:
