New Lebanon Local School District is seeking a dual‑role candidate to serve as School Psychologist and Director of Special Education. This position is ideal for individuals with a school psychologist certification who wish to expand their role in special education.
New Lebanon School District serves approximately 1,150 students across three buildings:
Dixie Elementary, Dixie Middle, and Dixie High School.
- Valid School Psychologist license in Ohio, or ability to obtain one by August 1 2026.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in education.
- Willingness to pursue an administrative or supervisory certification in Ohio if not already held.
- Ability to manage special education caseloads and support staff across three district buildings.
Administrative or supervisory certification in Ohio or ability to acquire by August 1 2026. Tuition reimbursement and professional development support for obtaining administrative certification.
Main Duties- Complete assessments and maintain compliant ETRs for students.
- Monitor IEP compliance and support special education staff in IEP completion.
- Oversee the Special Education Program at New Lebanon School District.
- Participate on the district administrative team.
- Participate in district/building RTI processes.
- Participate in building leadership teams.
- Complete assessments for children in the preschool program.
- Report to the Superintendent on areas of responsibility.
