Program Manager, Rural and Underserved Programs - Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine

Ohio University is hiring a Program Manager, Rural and Underserved Programs - Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. The role manages academic programs and community‑engaged initiatives focused on rural and underserved populations, supports faculty and student research, and collaborates with various health and educational partners to enhance experiential learning for medical students.

• Manage program delivery and development for rural and underserved health initiatives.
• Oversee curricular and co‑curricular programming such as the Rural and Urban Scholars Pathways, Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship, and Open Book Project electives.
• Develop partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders across Ohio.
• Support faculty‑ and student‑led research and program evaluation efforts.
• Collaborate with Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, College of Health Sciences and Professions, Community Health Programs, and Area Health Education Center.
• Requires Bachelor's degree and 3‑5 years related professional experience; healthcare licensure if applicable;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Grant‑funded position with up to five years of funding subject to annual renewal.
• Salary range $51,281 to $67,947 with full university benefits including tuition remission and comprehensive insurance.
• Work schedule Monday through Friday with some after‑hours and occasional travel.
• Position supports the mission to improve health outcomes and promote health equity in Appalachian and underserved communities.
