Wellington High School Social Studies Teacher
Wellington Exempted Village Schools (Lorain County) seeks a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our teaching staff as a Social Studies Teacher for high school-level classes. Essential qualifications include a valid or pending Ohio teaching license in Adolescent to Young Adult Social Studies (Grades 7-12). Preferred qualifications include previous teaching experience, the ability to teach Social Studies electives including Financial Literacy, the ability to teach CCP level courses or the willingness to receive additional training to be so, and willingness to take on additional roles such as coaching or club advisor.
Position starts at the beginning of the 2026-27 school year. Compensation is based upon years of experience, educational level, and the WEA collective bargaining agreement (available on the district website).
