JH Science Teacher

Junior High School Science Teacher (7-12)

Tri‑Village Middle/High School seeks a passionate and dedicated teacher for 7‑12 grade science. The position is for the 2026‑2027 school year within the Tri‑Village Local Schools district, located in New Madison, Ohio.

Job responsibilities include:

• Preparing students for special education meetings, including reports and assessments of student progress.
• Teaching and evaluating students using sound instructional practices that support district policies.
• Developing clear and timely lesson plans aligned with Illinois state standards.
• Maintaining accurate, complete, and correct records as required.
• Attending and planning parent/teacher conferences.
• Providing appropriate assessments to ensure all students learn the subject matter.
• Creating complete lesson plans for substitutes.
• Establishing and maintaining cooperative relationships with parents through effective communication.
• Observing pedagogical ethics and exhibiting professional behavior.
• Notifying parents when students do not meet classroom goals.
• Implementing safety precautions for self, staff, and students.
• Maintaining inventory of district supplies and equipment for instruction.
• Assisting in selecting and requesting classroom and instructional supplies.
• Representing the district positively in public interactions.
• Attending meetings and in‑services as required.
• Responding to routine questions and requests appropriately.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the building principal.

• Bachelor's degree (minimum).
• Current and valid Ohio teaching license.
