Allahabad High Court Recruitment – Group C and D Positions

Allahabad High Court has announced the recruitment of 3,306 Group C and D posts for its district courts across Uttar Pradesh. The positions will be filled through a centralized recruitment drive for the year 2024‑25.

• Driver Grade IV Exam – January 4, 2025, 10:30 AM to 12 PM
• Group C Clerical Cadre Exam – January 4, 2025, 3 PM to 4:30 PM
• Stenographer Grade III (Steno) Exam – January 5, 2025, 10:30 AM to 12 PM
• Group D Exam – January 5, 2025, 3 PM to 4:30 PM

• Stenographer Grade III (Hindi): 517 positions – salary Rs. 5,200 to 20,200, grade pay Rs. 2,800
• Stenographer Grade III (English): 66 positions – same salary range and grade pay
• Junior Assistant Group C: 932 positions – salary Rs. 5,200 to 20,200, grade pay Rs. 2,000
• Paid Apprentice: 122 positions – salary Rs. 5,200 to 20,200, grade pay Rs. 1,900
• Driver: 30 positions – salary Rs. 5,200 to 20,200, grade pay Rs. 1,900
• Group D Posts (including Tube Well Operator, Process Server, Peon, Orderly, Office Peon, Farrash, Watchman, Waterman, Coolie, Liftman, Sweeper, and others): 1,639 positions – most require a minimum of 8th‑grade education, salary Rs. 5,200 to 20,200, grade pay Rs. 1,800. Roles such as Sweeper cum Farrash require a minimum of 6th‑grade education with a fixed salary of Rs. 6,000.

Applications were accepted in October 2024 and attracted a large number of qualified candidates eager to serve in the judiciary system.
