Position Type: Full-time
Job DescriptionMath/Reading Intervention Tutor assigned to the elementary school, not to exceed 29.5 hours per week for the 2026-27 school year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and/or small group instruction for assigned students.
- Use a differentiated curriculum to address the individual needs of each student.
- Implement scientifically based and evidence‑based interventions and targeted time to promote school improvement efforts.
- Provide guidance and support to help students mature and make appropriate choices.
- Help students pursue their academic goals.
- Actively encourage parental involvement.
- Work with colleagues as teaching partners.
Qualifications:
- Valid State of Ohio license appropriate for the teacher assignment.
- Meet Highly Qualified definition.
- Clear record as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and/or the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
- Reading endorsement preferred.
