Job DescriptionOlentangy Schools is seeking qualified candidates for an Intervention Specialist Emotional Disturbance, Specialized Learning Center position(s) available at Olentangy High School for the 2026-27 school year. This position will help students learn subject matters and skills that will facilitate maximum learning experiences and contribute to their development as mature, capable and responsible adults; create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students;
guide the learning process toward the achievement of curricular goals.
Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible to hold valid and appropriate licensure (i.e., Intervention Specialist K-12 M/I) for each position with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
Employment status:
Certified, 185-day employment contract
Qualifications for the position include:
- Valid and appropriate Ohio teaching certificate/license
- Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university
- Alternative to the above qualifications as Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate
