Intervention Specialist (Grades K–12)
The Newton Falls Exempted Village School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Intervention Specialist licensed for grades K–12. The ideal candidate will bring diverse instructional skills and a strong foundation in primary reading, with the ability to support students across multiple grade levels in multiple schools. This position serves multiple grade levels and requires flexibility, collaboration, and a commitment to helping every student succeed academically and behaviorally.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in early literacy and reading intervention
- Experience in a co-teaching setting and resource room environment
- Demonstrated skill in IEP development and implementation
- Familiarity with Ohio's Learning Standards and data-driven instruction
- Science of Reading and Dyslexia training preferred
- Experience supporting students at the high school level is a plus
