MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
● Valid Ohio Teaching License
● Preschool Certified and Special Education Preschool Certified or willing to obtain Certification within the first two (2) years.
● Teaching Credentials to meet the requirements of the Third Grade Reading Guarantee are preferred
● Possess much patience for and enjoyment of children
● Ambitious, high energy person
● Ability to maintain professional conduct, appearance and manner
● Organized individual with ability to use initiative and creativity in stimulating student learning
● Excellent communication skills
● Ability to encourage active participation of students and to maintain an effective learning environment
● Excellent classroom management techniques
DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Experience as an Elementary Preschool School teacher
● Experience in working with special needs students
● Familiar with and capable of utilizing computer applications to enhance instruction
● A desire to affect change in the lives of children
