Job Description:
Summary
Facilitates with the completion of laboratory tasks for student(s) with disability. Must have the ability to listen to and follow instructions as given to ensure work is completed and able to be assessed based on the skills of the student being assisted. Must also maintain necessary safety standards of lab environment
Required Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Completion of at least six credit hours at Tri-C
- Minimum GPA of 2.5
- Must be enrolled during Summer Semester, and must have plans to register for classes in Fall Semester at Tri-C
- Maintains satisfactory academic progress

- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to work accurately with great attention to detail
- Possess sensitivity to appropriately respond to the needs of a diverse population
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

- The work is performed in a normal, professional office environment;
- The work area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated;
- Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers using a computer mouse and keyboard to type. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, pamphlets, books, etc.;
- Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite
