Tutu School Akron seeks flexible substitute and event teachers for its Magic Makers On Call team — an invitation-only roster of trained Tutu School teachers who bring the magic when extra support is needed. No regular weekly schedule required.

OPPORTUNITIES MAY INCLUDE

• Emergency and planned substitute teaching
• Camps and Kid's Night Out events
• Studio events and dance playdates
• Community outreach at fairs and festivals

• No regularly scheduled weekly classes
• No minimum weekly hours
• Opportunities offered as they arise — you choose what fits your schedule
• No expectation of attending regular meetings or following day-to-day operations

EXPECTATIONS

Team members generally participate in 2–4 opportunities per quarter to remain active on the roster. More available if desired.

• · Can confidently teach multiple class levels independently once trained
• · Creates warm, engaging experiences for unfamiliar dancers and families
• · Adaptable — thrives with varying group sizes and venues
• · Excited by thinking on their feet and meeting new people
• · Dependable communicator
• · Wants to work with young children but a regular schedule isn’t the right fit

• · Premium hourly rate for emergency substitute teaching
• · Minimum paid time for emergency call-ins where applicable
• · Mileage compensation beyond expected radius
• · Training rate for additional preparation (e.g. recital choreography)
