Drone Maintenance Technician - FAA-Aligned & Fleet

Prime Air is seeking a Repair Technician who combines technical skills with a passion for maintaining machinery and aircraft. This person will be responsible for drone maintenance and routine service, ensuring the aircraft conforms to design, and that vehicles are in safe operating condition. This candidate will work closely with engineering, flight operations, and other Prime Air teams to deliver on their assigned responsibilities.

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities
• Show understanding of fleet performance metrics
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals

• Ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
• Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching
• Work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Travel up to 25% of the time

This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf. This position may be subject to Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and alcohol testing if conducting safety sensitive functions as defined by the FAA.

• 1+ year of electrical or mechanical experience
• Experience with common business applications and tools (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Can work in an environment with variable noise, temperature, weather, outdoor temperatures, and refrigerated environments
• Demonstrated good attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts

• Experience installing sub-assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files
• Experience in the aviation industry
• Business communication skills
• Experience in Robotics and Manufacturing engineering

USA, OH, North Randall – 21.00 - 44.00 USD hourly

The starting pay for this position includes the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
