WTG Electrical Installation Supervisor

Our client is a leading OEM in the onshore wind sector. As part of ongoing global projects, we are looking for freelance Electrical Installation Supervisors to support wind turbine installation and finishing phases across multiple sites.

You will provide hands‑on electrical expertise during the installation, connection and finishing of wind turbine generators, ensuring turbines are fully prepared for commissioning and handover.

• Provide technical electrical support during installation, connection, adjustment and finishing phases of WTGs
• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities on site, including subcontractors
• Ensure full compliance with HSE standards and intervene where necessary to maintain safe operations
• Identify and resolve electrical and quality deviations to support successful commissioning
• Oversee SCADA, cabling and electrical system integration, ensuring readiness for energisation and testing
• Monitor quality and progress, ensuring works are completed on time and to required standards
• Carry out inspections, reporting and preparation of technical documentation
• Support site management with coordination, planning and project meetings
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to site teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement of installation methods and procedures

• Qualified electrician or equivalent technical background
• Proven experience in WTG installation, electrical works, commissioning or maintenance
• Strong understanding of LV, MV and HV systems within wind turbines
• Experience supervising teams and managing subcontractors on site
• Comfortable working at height and in demanding construction environments
• Strong focus on safety, quality and delivery
• Willingness to work on rotation and travel internationally
• Good working knowledge of reporting tools and MS Office
