UTM Consultants are looking for a Technician responsible for carrying out statutory inspections, testing, and reporting of wind turbine-mounted cranes, service lifts, and safety equipment at wind farm sites, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and company HSEQ requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Perform statutory inspections of turbine-mounted cranes, service lifts, and safety equipment.
- Conduct visual inspections, functional testing, and fault identification.
- Inspect and assess lifting equipment, fall protection systems, and access equipment.
- Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety procedures and industry standards.
- Mechanical or Electrical Trades Certificate.
- Competent person status and/or experience with crane inspections (small offshore cranes, e.g., HIAB and Palfinger).
- Competent person status and/or experience with wind turbine service lifts (e.g., Avanti and Skyman).
- WTSR training and experience as an Authorized or Competent Technician.
- Experience working at height and within the wind industry environment.
