Position OverviewAs a Wind Site Technician, you will ensure smooth operation of wind turbines through maintenance, troubleshooting, and system support. Your work keeps communities powered and clean.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair wind turbines with a team.
- Adhere to safety protocols and conduct safety inspections.
- Collaborate to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
- Document work and continuously improve operational processes.
- Accurately time code all work activities.
- At least 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate, or 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
- Highly developed problem‑solving abilities and an engaged approach.
- Safety‑conscious and committed to best practices.
- Team player who enjoys collaborative environments.
- Physically fit, comfortable working in various conditions and at heights.
- Proficient in reading and following instructions in English.
- High school diploma (or equivalent), valid driver’s license, and legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Physical Demands- Stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Use telephones, radios, or related devices.
- Maintain visual acuity including depth perception and color distinction.
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed with hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Climb stairs and vertical ladders to heights of 60–100 meters and supervise work in confined spaces.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying items up to 50 lbs.
- Complete safety training and certifications (LOTO, Electrical Qualification, Fall Arrest, High Angle Rescue, Confined Space).
- Participate in all training courses, including controlled descent exercises.
- Ensure combined weight of employee, PPE, and gear does not exceed 300 lbs; PPE may weigh up to 40 lbs.
