This full-time role is 100% in-office at our location in Westerville.
Mid-City Electric seeks a highly motivated, detail-oriented P6 Scheduler to join our project management and estimating team. This role is key to ensuring that our electrical construction projects stay on track, on budget, and on time. If you’re experienced in Primavera P6 and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we want to meet you.
What You’ll Do:Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for multiple projects.
Collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, engineers, and estimators to build logic-driven, resource-loaded schedules.
Perform schedule updates, baseline comparisons, and critical path analyses.
Identify project risks and potential delays—recommend mitigation strategies to keep things moving.
Produce weekly and monthly reports, including look-ahead schedules and resource forecasting.
Facilitate schedule review meetings and provide updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Provide training and support to team members on scheduling best practices.
What You Bring:A degree in construction management or equivalent experience in electrical service and construction is required.
2+ years of hands‑on experience scheduling construction projects using Primavera P6.
Deep understanding of construction sequencing, particularly for electrical scopes of work.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Familiarity with earned value management, change management, and cost controls is a plus.
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and on a team.
Highly organized with a sharp attention to detail and a proactive approach.
