Freelance Concrete Tower (CT) HSE Officer

Contract: Self‑Employed / Temporary
Rotation: 3 weeks on / 1 week off
Location: Renewable Energy Construction Project (Concrete Tower Assembly)

We are seeking an experienced Freelance HSE Officer to support health, safety and environmental compliance during the construction and assembly of concrete tower (CT) structures for a major renewable energy project. This position is offered on a 3:1 rotation, suitable for independent contractors working on a self‑employed basis.

• Oversee HSE compliance during concrete tower assembly activities.
• Review subcontractor RAMS, HSE plans and training matrices.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and safety walkdowns.
• Manage work permits and ensure safe systems of work.
• Support incident investigations and corrective action plans.
• Promote strong HSE culture and environmental best practices.
• Liaise with project teams, subcontractors and HSE‑related suppliers.

• Right to work in Europe without sponsorship
• HNC or equivalent HSE qualification
• Experience in construction, precast concrete or wind‑sector projects beneficial.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and HSE leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and relevant local HSE regulations.
• English essential;
  Spanish beneficial.
