Our client is a well-established renewable energy company active across the full value chain—from project development and EPC/EPCM to long-term asset and service management. With decades of experience in photovoltaic projects, the company has expanded strongly into utility-scale solar power plants and large-scale battery energy storage systems (10 MW+).
The organisation develops, builds, and operates projects across multiple international markets and is currently managing and developing portfolios in the hundreds of megawatts. Innovation, technical excellence, and practical implementation are at the core of the company’s approach to the energy transition.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the planning and implementation of large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) and utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) projects. This is a hands-on technical role with involvement across design, implementation, and commissioning phases.
Your Responsibilities
- Electrical engineering planning and implementation for large BESS and utility-scale PV projects
- Design of grid connection concepts, medium- and high-voltage systems, and protection schemes
- Electrical plant design including transformers, inverters, switch gear, and auxiliary systems
- Development and maintenance of SCADA systems for monitoring, control, and data analysis
- Technical evaluation and selection of key electrical components and suppliers
- Preparation and review of technical documentation, drawings, and specifications
- Technical support during tendering, procurement, commissioning, and handover
- Collaboration with project development, procurement, construction, and operations teams
- Contribution to technical optimisation, standardisation, and continuous improvement
Your Profile
- Degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in renewable energy or power engineering projects (PV and/or BESS preferred)
- Solid knowledge of grid integration, protection technology, SCADA systems, and electrical plant planning
