At our site in Marl, we produce Acrylic Acid from propene using a technically demanding process. This Acrylic Acid is the raw material used to make our final product:
Superabsorber.

- You will help to ensure the efficient operation of the acrylic acid plant and quality control.
- You will monitor processes, analyze plant malfunctions, and work on optimization projects to improve production efficiency.
- You will support the organization of the quality laboratory, personnel planning, and the assurance of qualifications.
- You will work on the development of technological concepts, support operational trials, and coordinate development projects.
- You will take on hazardous substance management and play an active role in coordination with internal and external committees.
- You will assist with patent applications and the monitoring of third‑party patents.
- You contribute ideas for continuous improvement, assist with benchmarks, and participate in the development of roadmaps for future technologies.
- You will participate in expert committees and expand your knowledge of regulatory and safety‑related topics.
- A university degree in process engineering or chemical engineering.
- Expertise in chemical plant process and process engineering, preferably in heterogeneous catalyzed gas phase reactions and downstream thermal processing.
- Business fluent German and fluent English skills as well as sound MS Office skills.
- Leadership skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to design complex processes efficiently.
- Fundamental understanding of occupational safety, environmental protection, and quality assurance, as well as an interest in hazardous materials management.
- Interest in the development and implementation of optimization projects and willingness to innovate.
- Strong communication and interface skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
