*** Location*:
Monolithic Power Solutions EMC Laboratory in Ettenheim (Germany) As a senior application engineer you will work with MPS motor driver products. You will evaluate and debug new ICs, provide application support and technical training, write datasheets and application/design notes.
Some of your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
* ** Collaborate with design and technical marketing engineers to debug and characterize new and existing ICs. Identify and drive device improvements.**
* ** Collaborate with field application teams to support design-in activities.**
* ** Technical talents mentoring.
*** Optimize solutions’ EMC and thermal performances. Publish whitepapers.
* Develop end-equipment solutions addressing automotive and industrial market needs.
* Participate in application and circuit reviews.
* Qualifications** >15 years of experience in the space of automotive and industrial applications, switched mode power supplies, motor drivers and EMC testing.
* Deep expertise in analog measurement techniques and equipment.
* Hardware bench experience in power electronics (including PCB design).
* Knowledge of simulation tools for analog and mixed-signal systems.
* Familiar with automotive standards such as LV124, CISPR-25, IEC
61967 and ISO
21780.
* Motivated, open minded, rigorous, out-of-the-box thinker.
* Capable of mentoring talents.
* Able to take the initiative and drive for results.
* Fluent communication skills in English (German is an advantage).
* Excellent writing and presentation skills.
